As Brand Manager within evoke’s Global Brand Department, you will become part of team that is committed to driving our brands forward globally, aligning the business and embedding the brand in everything we do. You’ll report into the Head of Brand & Creative Services for Mr Green and work alongside the Lead Creative, the International Studio, plus the Head of Project Management & Production and the Mr Green Project Manager. Collectively we are responsible for the successful implementation of the Mr Green brand.
You’ll work with the Head of Brand to ensure clarity of purpose, positioning, and proposition for the Mr Green brand across all customer touchpoints, with a simple goal; to create and bring to life the most consistent, compelling and clearly defined brand in our market through every interaction a customer has with us.
Brand is what we do, what we say and how we say it. It’s far more than just advertising. It’s what customers feel every time they think of, or interact with, any part of our business. Whether they’re taking part in the latest promotion, speaking to a customer support advisor, or browsing the app store looking for their new favourite online casino, the interaction with the brand should prompt the same universal feelings and speak to them with consistency and clarity. In short, everything we do, say or deliver should come from the same fundamental principles defined in the Mr Green Customer Value Proposition (this is the brand strategy).
That’s because a brand is what sets a business apart from its competition. It’s what makes a business unique. It’s what gives customers reasons to believe. And in a crowded marketplace selling a homogenised core product (gambling), brand is the single most important differentiator and where the battle for customers’ hearts and wallets will be won or lost.
You'll take on the role of brand guardian - responsible for ensuring brand coherency across different markets, so we're looking for a good understanding of implementing brand guidelines and tone of voice across a variety of touchpoints.
You'll be a self-starting, resilient team player with a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt and respond quickly to feedback and changes.
Brand strategy development:
- Support the development of the brand proposition for Mr Green, using customer insight and market analysis.
- Drive the brand proposition and purpose to ensure that both the internal teams and agency partners understand how this ladders to company goals.
- Be the ‘go-to’ person for all things Mr Green brand related. From brand strategy and understanding our customers through to being the brand guardian of creative, and tone of voice.
- Update the brand guardrails as needed and socialise these across the business to ensure so all colleagues know how to bring the brand to life consistently.
- Working alongside Research and Insight, to understand and continually monitor key brand metrics and brand measures of success for Mr Green.
- Collaborate with key teams across the business to influence roadmaps to ensure all plans, product and promotion iterations reflect the brand proposition and purpose.
- Work alongside BI and Research & Insight to help define and bring to life target audience segments for the brand and the business.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop long-term plans for how we communicate our brand to customers in each territory, ensuring plans accurately reflect the brand’s proposition and purpose and that brand RTBs are communicated clearly to the audience.
Brand advocacy:
- Be a passionate and vocal advocate for Mr Green, sharing knowledge around what our brand stands for and why it’s unique, at every opportunity.
- Work with the People & Talent team to develop and lead a continuous series of brand learning and inductions to ensure every evoke colleague is fluent in all aspects of our brand.
- Establish and support brand clinics/drop-ins for teams to engage with at any stage of project development to ensure initiatives remain true to the brand.
- Create physical space that represent each of our brands within evoke offices to ensure they’re an ever-present in the minds of our people.
- Enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude.

- Experience of working with in-house or agency creative teams
- Ability to influence and empower those around them.
- Fluent brand thinker with the ability to work strategically as well as tactically.
- Insight-driven with an insatiable desire to understand the customer and the market.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn customer and market insight into tangible direction and action for our brands.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms to a broad audience.
- Inquisitive by nature and prepared to ask difficult questions (in the right way!).
