As Head of Sportsbook at evoke, you will be driving commercial performance from our Sports verticals across our key markets for both the Mr Green and 888 brands.

The HoSB will be responsible for the revenue targets from the vertical, owning our Sports promotion plan across markets while optimizing our player offering with our trading team and pushing our product to next level. You will bring extensive insights from a player perspective, to drive us forward together with our Sportsbook Product team in our journey to develop our in-house Sportsbook platform to becoming world class.

In other words, we are looking for a sports fanatic with a deep understanding of player behavior and product needs across territories.  In an exciting environment with lots of opportunities, you are agile and focused on prioritizing initiatives that bring the strongest commercial output.

This is therefore a key role within the commercial team, reporting to the regional Managing Director. The role requires 3-5 years of Sportsbook leadership experience, having worked detailed on commercial and product performance.

• Monitoring trading performance and drive optimization together with the central trading team.
• Drive the Martech / Product requirements of the business in collaboration with our Product teams by finding opportunities and gaps and owning your business cases internally.
• Build the monthly promotional plans according to commercial targets together with the Business Unit’s CRM team and Commercial partners.
• Represent and network on behalf of the Business Unit in our daily (and new) relationships with suppliers and keep us at the forefront of new opportunities.

• Minimum 3 years working with Sportsbook in a commercial or product oriented role.
• Native Danish, Swedish or German language proficiency. 
• Experience with commercial strategy in regulated markets
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• A solid team player. You possess your own expertise to drive us forward, but you get there through strong collaboration with key functions across the company.
• An empathic and strong leader, to fit the culture in the BU and at evoke. You bring experience from people management that you can easily apply to the existing Business Unit and your direct reports.
• The ability to work across multiple teams in a matrix organization and manage project deliveries within tight deadlines.
• Highly organized.
